Your car wheels are the only things on your vehicle that have direct contact with the road and you have a lot riding on them, literally. Any blowout or damage caused by neglect could cost you thousands of dollars in repairs, not to mention harm to you and your passengers.

What are some basic methods of caring for my car wheels?
• Check the air pressure regularly
• Repair tires if only if there is damage to the flat tread. If the damage is toward the outside (curved) part of the wheel, you will need to replace it completely.
• Use a soft brush when cleaning your tires; do not use specialty cleaners.

Damage to your car wheels can be the result of low air pressure. When the tires become low, the weight of the vehicle can cause the rims to inflict damage on the tires. Correct air pressure will also increase the fuel efficiency of your car.
