Chrome wheels FAQs

Q: What’s chrome?
A: Chrome is shiny, metallic plating that you often see on bumpers. High-end rims are covered with chrome because the material makes them aesthetically-pleasing. Chrome rims are also associated as a high status symbol.

Q: What’s a “dub”?
A: Dubs are rims that fall between the 20”-22” range. They are extremely popular with celebrities and many rap artists reference them in their songs.

Q: How do I care for chrome rims?
A: A simple mixture of water and a light detergent will do. Any sort of degreaser will actually make the shiny metal corrode faster, so you’ll want to avoid those at all costs to preserve the sheen of your rims.
